Infrathin Artist Residency is a Texas Hill Country-based program supporting artists through place-based residencies, community programming, and public art initiatives, including TerraTx Art Fest. 

 

Public Art + TerraTx Art Fest- We produce TerraTx Art Fest, a multi-day event that results in permanent public artworks and a growing art trail throughout the Frio Canyon and surrounding areas.

Community + Education- We collaborate with local organizations, historians, and students to create accessible, hands-on arts and humanities programming.

Artist Residencies- We host 2–3 residency sessions annually, providing artists with time, space, and community to create work inspired by the Texas Hill Country.

Mission – The Infrathin Artist Residency Program is an incubator for creativity that gives artists a space to create and experiment with new ideas, while connecting the rural residents of Uvalde County and Real County to art.

Vision – The Infrathin Artist Residency Program brings art to the rural area of Uvalde County and Real County, introducing the local population to different types of art. The residency can provide arts based jobs in an arts desert, and establish arts programming throughout the year that engages the community with opportunities to both view and create art.

Location – The Infrathin Artist Residency Program is hosted at the Inn Between in beautiful Concan Texas and serves both Real and Uvalde Counties.
